Join your fellow CHIP grads at the delightfully
eclectic Rhythm Kitchen Music Café for a prepared-to-order
CHIP Approved meal—and a chance to swap favorite CHIP friendly
recipes of your own. Rhythm Kitchen owner and long-time CHIP supporter
Shelly Lenzini will open her restaurant just for our group, so
please plan to take advantage of this great opportunity.

What: Dinner (pay for your own) and recipe swap
Where: Rhythm Kitchen Music Café, 305
S.W. Water Street (foot of Liberty) at the River Front (676-9668).
Free parking in the lot directly across the street, adjacent to
the River Station.
When: 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007
Details: If desired, bring 30 copies of a favorite
CHIP friendly recipe to swap with other attendees.

Who: CHIP graduates and their spouses or
significant others
When: 2nd Thursday of the
month
5:30-7 p.m. at First Christian Church
6400 N. University, Peoria (next to post office)
Cost: FREE!

No group in December.
Details: The group will watch portions of CHIP
videotapes (including parts not viewed in class) designed to help
attendees learn about and make healthy lifestyle changes. Following
each presentation, attendees will discuss the video and any other
CHIP issues of interest. The goal: To support
each other in addressing CHIP challenges and celebrate those wonderful
successes!
Note: This
is a support group for and by CHIP alumni and will not be overseen
by a certified CHIP facilitator.
About Us
PACAA is open to all graduates of the CHIP program.
* At present, there is no charge to join, although a
nominal fee may be charged for some events.
* Events are held approximately once a month.
* Notification of events goes out by e-mail (alumni without e-mail
access are requested to ask a fellow CHIPer to let them know about
upcoming events).
* Events may be educational, social or both and are designed to
support CHIP grads in the CHIP lifestyle.
* All alumni with e-mail addresses will receive CHIP
Chatter, the PACAA quarterly e-mail newsletter.

* Alumni also receive via e-mail a biweekly "CHIP Tip"
with helpful CHIP-related information and recipes (Missed a CHIP
Tip? See the "CHIP Tip Archive" below!)
* CHIP Alumni are invited to take any Peoria Area CHIP Community
program at a $100 discount.
